 ✹ FIRST IMPRESSIONS ✹ NAME & BIRTH: Noir, previously known as Gauche Suede before memory loss. His birthday is November 13th and he's currently 24, making him a Scorpio. ✹ VISUAL: Noir stands around 5'10" (173cm) with a fit and lean (~150lbs / 68kg) build that hints to his past as a letter bee. Strong calves, calloused hands, and the occasional scars littering his body, the most notable of which is the one on his right cheek received when he had saved Lag Seeing, the series' protagonist. His race is Albisian, and though this isn't explained in-depth, they're often characterized by medium-length messy silvery-white hair and purple eyes, and their general demeanor is often open and loving. Albisians are considered to be very empathetic and cry easily. ✹ FASHION: Noir is easy; he'll wear anything dark and easy to move in! Uniforms are also a good means to blend in so he'll go for them. default outfit (& underneath the cloak), letter bee uniform, crosscheck uniform. ✹ DEMEANOR: How does your character hold themselves? What kind of feel do they give off? Give a general sense of their attitude. ✹ AURAL: Fukuyama Jun voices Gauche/Noir, though as Gauche he sounds warmer and sweeter, very friendly and affable if a bit awkward if you keep chatting beyond the superficial basics. As Noir, he's colder and more severe, but he can also act like Gauche very naturally, especially as his core personality still shares all of Gauche's traits and he's slowly pulled from his shell and shown what sort of person he can and has been before by those he meets. Noir speaks some strange unique fantasy language that is probably some weird mix of Japanese and Russian, looking at the characters used in writing! He is a bit formally stiff in his wording, but otherwise I don't know that he'd have an accent other than sounding.... some weird combination of Japanese/Russian. I don't know what to call that, friends!! ✹ OLFACTORY: Lunar flowers and gun oil and leather, with a touch of dry sand under the midnight sun. Noir likely uses whatever mild / cheap soap he can get his hands on, and the day someone introduces him to cologne, he'll likely use something cool and dark— for some reason fig and sandalwood scents come to mind??? Don't look at me. ✹ MENTAL INFORMATION: Noir, to begin with, was once someone else. Gauche Suede; a man who no longer exists but for a shred, and this shred isn't something Noir is aware of. Had his heart been completely taken, his body would have been without a soul; essentially a vegetable until his body inevitably failed and he would have died. He has no memories of his life for a good span of some 20 years. Noir awakened around the age of 21 or 22, with Gauche's old Dingo named Roda, mutilated and merged with other living beings, at his side. Roda had originally been a white dog, but the dog was merged with a plant and a human woman and now is essentially just a woman covered in scars and some vague memories of what she had been, likely not knowing Gauche and having been assigned to Noir by chance. He is an empty and sad man with very fresh and new memories to fill the void that is his Heart. There are no feelings of defenses or walls; his mind is open, if largely empty. Visualized, it would be something like a night sky full of clouds lit by the moon, with only a few specks of stars (Gauche's soul). This is all understandably complicated so please feel free to contact me! ✹ MAGICAL INFORMATION: The Heart is a powerful thing; rather, in Tegami Bachi, "Heart" is essentially a measure of one's soul. It resonates with something called spirit amber, which is normal amber containing spirit insects; these spirit insects are the actual magic, and their ancient essence trapped in amber helps those with a large amount of heart utilize it, weaponize it. Some people specialize in healing, some specialize in attacking, some specialize in defending. The way each person's heart can be used is unique. There have been land mines, guns, its been used to power a motorcycle, it can scatter shot, it can heal through musical instruments or simple gunshots. Gauche/Noir's is utilized via gun, and his spirit appears black in color, whether this is his actual spirit's color affecting the amber or whether it's the original color of the amber the user was given is unclear. crosscheck mana meme ✹ PLAYER INFORMATION ✹ BACKTAGGING: Absolutely! I tend to forget what's been threaded after a few weeks and lose interest after a couple of months, but I try to be as reliable as I can. I do my best to get a round of tags in daily but sometimes it might be a few days before I have time off work and can get some writing done. ✹ FOURTHWALLING: Sure thing! Not that he'd get it, tbh. ✹ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Anyone is welcome to try! Even as he acts friendlier, he won't quite know how to respond and just allow it, not showing any real reaction to it, positive or negative. Hugs won't often be returned, kisses will be met with a startled expression, and anything else like an arm around the shoulder or a pat on the back will be taken in stride. ✹ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: He's always ready for a bit of the ol' ultra violence. ;) Let's get it on! ✹ RELATIONSHIPS: Once again, go forth and try! Flirting will trip him up a bit and leave him floundering, but the idea of going into a relationship isn't one he'd entertain without some serious coercion. How can one open themselves to another person when they don't even know themselves? That's a can of worms he isn't ready to get into. For sexual action, IF IT'S REQUIRED HE'LL PROBABLY GO ALONG WITH IT but otherwise he has no interest.
